I learned the power of disclosure and being able to self advocate. I even learnt to use the negative reactions as opportunities for education.

Rather than viewing neurodivergence as a hindrance, we should celebrate the diversity it brings to the collective human experience.

During this whole direction-seeking escapade, I couldn’t help but reflect on how much I depend on my smartphones for navigation these days. We often take for granted the convenience of GPS apps, forgetting that not too long ago, we relied on paper maps and asking strangers for help.

Some training sessions were enjoyable, while with others, I would tie my shoes, huffing and puffing, thinking, “Why on why am I doing this.”
